Apparently he has a knee injury that has him questionable for Sunday's game, but when he's healthy Marc Boerigter should be starting at WR for the Chiefs. Johnnie Morton has been a huge disappointment and is nothing more than a possession receiver, and Eddie Kennison could well be the most over- rated and over-hyped receiver of all time.

Boerigter is big and fast and has great hands. He had a real nice catch and run on his first TD, and showed great hands and tenacity on his second one. He'd make a really nice one-two with Gonzalez as big weapons in the passing

I still can't believe you guys bought into Vermeil saying Kennison would be a quality starting WR for the Chiefs. Let's see - never has done anything in his career when given chance after chance - quit on his last team. Yeah, he's quality all right.

He's been by far the Chiefs best WR (admittedly, not saying much), and currently leads the entire NFL in YPC.

With the KC offense ranked as high as it is, this is no time to be dissin' the WRs. KC's proven they can hurt teams with the double whammy of Gonzo and Holmes. If the KC production on offense falls off because teams cheat against Holmes AND Gonzo and it WORKS, then we'll know for sure that the WRs can't hold up their end. From what I can recall seeing, other teams take Morton and Kennison quite seriously.

OTOH, it looks to me like Boerigter is the best WR the Chiefs have for going after the ball when it's strongly defensed. All ties go to the boa constrictor. Green tried a close one last week to Kennison, and the D got the better of the exchange.

Um, no ones 'buying' anything. The Chiefs picked up Kennison last season for the last six games, because injuries had left them with no one. He was just a body, and no one expected anything.

But he played well for those six games, and earned a shot to make the team this season. The Chiefs tried to sign McCardell as our #2 receiver, but were outbid by Tampa.

The fact is, Kennison is playing well, and no one ever doubted his skills. Not sure why you have a problem with this.

I know you don't want Vermeil to do well, but this isn't one of his failures. Find something else.

Hey Glory. Still holding to Vermeil not having anything to do with the Ram's success?

Somebody tell me, how many national interviews has Kennison walked out on?
