Chiefs once again provide solution for opponent

The Chiefs are playing pretty solid against the run. Subtract all the pass completions that give opponents extra rushing attempts, and they're covering the run very well, IMO.

Huh?? The Chiefs are 30th in the NFL in YPC allowed. 30th. They've allowed a whopping 4.9 YPC. Remember when everyone was talking about how New England couldn't stop anybody from running? Well, they've done better against the run than the Chiefs.

The only reason the Chiefs' rushing yards allowed puts them in the middle of the pack is because their pass defense is even worse, so teams have no reason to run much. Plus, the offense forces the other team to put points on the board.

i agree the Chiefs run defense is OK. It is the simple 8-12 passes that the Chiefs are allowing. Stop allowing 8 yard throws and the other team just might go 3 and out instead its 1st down,1st down ,1st down, 2nd and 2, 1st down,, etc. till its a goal line stand.

Bump the recievers off their routes and then run with them, don't give the 8-12 yard cushion off the line.

DAMN,, it is THAT simple.
